HIP DYSPLASIA

At Windchaser Kennels all our breeding stock have either a "Good or Excellent" rating by the Orthopedic Foundation of Animals or have been certified clear of such disease. If at any time during the first two years of owning a Windchaser Alaskan Malamute, the puppy is found to be suffering from this disease, a certified letter from your Veterinarian will result in you the buyer receiving a replacement puppy from us either show or pet/companion quality depending on which you bought. All transportation costs will be the responsibility of the buyer.

CHONDRODYSPLASIA

All breeding stock at Windchaser Kennels has Ch.D. numbers from the Alaskan Malamute Club of America and their Pedigrees have been test-bred clear over the years of this crippling disease.

12 MONTH GUARANTEE AGAINST CONGENITAL DEFECTS

If your Windchaser puppy develops a condition which dates back to the prenatal or fetal stage, please send us a veterinarian certification of the defect, and we will replace the puppy at no cost to you the buyer. This puppy must be spayed or neutered before any replacement will be made. This guarantee does not cover cataracts, which are extremely prevalent in our breed today. All transportation costs of the new puppy will be the responsibility of the buyer.

PET QUALITY PUPPY

All puppies sold as Pet Quality, MUST be spayed or neutered by the age of 8 months. All puppies sold, as Pet Quality will not receive any AKC papers until the proof of spay or neuter has been sent to Lynda Ste. Jhourré, Owner of Windchaser Kennels. No person under ANY circumstances is to breed a Pet Quality puppy from us and if they do so, will be liable to civil damages under the law for "Breech of Contract". We at Windchaser Kennels do NOT believe in the backyard breeder and believe only those that put the time and effort in to improve the breed and have made a life-long commitment to do so deserve that honor.

SHOW QUALITY PUPS

If at any time a person buys a show quality puppy from us and through a concerted effort of showing of 20 weekends or more with proof of entry, the dog has not obtained its American Championship, Windchaser Kennels will replace this dog with another show quality puppy upon proof that the original puppy has been spayed or neutered. All transportation costs of the new puppy will be the responsibility of the original buyer.

OLDER DOGS AND RETIRED SHOW DOGS

If the buyer purchases an older dog or retired show dog; the same rule applies to the AKC papers as if he were buying a puppy. The dog MUST be spayed or neutered according to contract terms. Then and only then, will the AKC papers be forwarded to them or an agreed upon co-ownership between the buyer and seller.

ALL CONRACTS MUST BE SIGNED AND RETURNED TO WINDCHASER KENNELS BEFORE ANY PUPPY WILL BE SHIPPED!
